It’s often the little things that do the trick for me, like this adorable set of biscuit cutters I recently bought from Williams-Sonoma. I thought they’d beat my old technique of using a drinking glass to cut through thick bisquick dough. With a day off from school to observe what would have been Martin Luther King’s 8oth birthday, we started our morning off with biscuits for breakfast. Watch how well my new toys worked! Oh–and it’s so much fun to photograph chrome–I love how it glistens.

Ok, hungry just looking at those biscuits! Delish! I love the first shot of your new “toys” and of your dog in summer =0. Can’t wait for SPRING!
Our wonderful pediatricians Dr. Nikki Gorman and Dr. Jennifer Gruen are opening their new office Village Pediatrics on Monday, January 19th in Westport. We’re so pleased and impressed with their new facility — so bright, fresh and bodes a fantastic view of the salt marsh–an easy distraction when getting a shot! We’re thrilled to have our work on display throughout their new space too.

Today is one of the coldest days yet this winter. Ellen and I needed an infusion of greenery, both to be surrounded by it and to have it in our homes. Thus prompted a field trip to South Salem, New York to visit our local green grower Valley View Nurseries. The greenhouses are starting to fill with small plantlets; a hopeful sign that although Spring is a few months away, it will be alive under the hot house hoops in a month or so.
