The Circle of Care, KrikIt Kids and Une Minette collaborated to create a beautiful evening combining fashion and fund-raising last night in Wilton Center. I’ve posted a few ‘fashion forward’ photos that were taken at the event held in both stores–how convenient that they’re side by side! KritIt Kids wowed the crowd with some dazzling outfits worn by our own Wilton up-and-coming young models. I never realized how difficult it is to photograph runway models in action; they keep moving! We needed a little Project Runway instruction on that last catwalk pose but all-in-all—it was fierce! Not shown here but equally as stunning were the Wilton Moms outfitted by joining sister store Une Minettte. One walked away from the event all jazzed for the holiday season–in a giving and fashionable sense!
The Circle of Care , a non-profit organization started four years ago by three moms who met during their children’s own battle with pediatric cancer, offers support for families with cancer. Take a look at their website; you’ll be amazed and inspired by their programs. One of my favorites is Art from the Heart. This team of volunteers makes over the bedrooms of children undergoing chemotherapy treatment. What a treat for the kids and the giving souls who make it all possible!
